“ My goal is to make every face that my brush touches feel and see just how fabulous they are from the inside out”, says LaTavia Dawson. With this in mind, her impact will go a lot further than concealer and lipstick could carry her.

A Jacksonville native, LaTavia began her journey by doing makeup for her classmates wedding. From there, Fabulous Faces Makeup was born and her brand started to grow. She began building a network by supporting others in their endeavors and collecting makeup gigs along the way.

Starting out with a natural gift, LaTavia relied on herself to learn new techniques and perfect her artistry. Since her humble beginnings, LaTavia has been providing makeup services for numerous weddings, proms, fashion shows, photo shoots, commercials, and many print projects. As a freelance makeup artist with over 10 years of experience she has worked with clients such as Marc Morial, Congressman Ron DeSantis, Illaysah Shabazz, En Vogue, and Angela Yee of The Breakfast Club.

 LaTavia’s work has been featured in numerous publications such as Sophisticate’s Black Hair Magazine, Hype Hair Magazine and Kontrol Magazine. She has worked in fashion markets such as Miami, Atlanta, New Orleans, and New York. LaTavia has also worked with national hair companies such as Shea Moisture, Lottabody, and Crème of Nature.

LaTavia is also an educator within the beauty industry being featured on numerous blogs, holding makeup classes, and also doing her personal makeup segment on WTLV First Coast Living Live here in Jacksonville.

LaTavia has recently graduated from beauty school as a licensed Esthetician. Being an esthetician, not only is she able to give you a flawless makeup application, but she can now educate and show you how to take care of one of the most important parts of your body, your skin.
